Cory Blankenship holds his BS in Sport Management and attended Belmont University to earn his Master’s in Sport and Recreation Administration. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is also a certified kettlebell instructor. Cory has more than 10 years of experience in strength and conditioning and has worked with all age and skill levels ranging from children to professional athletes. Cory currently works full time as a firefighter/EMT. He enjoys CrossFit, traveling with his wife, Shelby, and music and movies from the 80’s.

Dr. Shelby Blankenship attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she graduated with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. She attended Tennessee State University earning her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During her time as a physical therapist, Shelby has specialized in working with older adults, post stroke patients, and pelvic health issues. She holds a Level 1 certification in Dry Needling and is also certified in pelvic floor needling. When not working, she can often be found at Know Good Crossfit or spending time with her husband, Cory, and their dog, Sully.

Mandy Cook is passionate about movement and the mind-body connection. She obtained her Yoga Instructor Certification at the Asheville Yoga Center in 2017. Her skills as an instructor have been honed through group and one-on-one classes throughout the Nashville area. In 2020 Mandy became a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, acquiring her Associates of Health Sciences at Volunteer State University. She specializes in rehabilitating patients with neurological conditions as well as those with cardiopulmonary dysfunction. Her time outside of physical therapy and the gym is spent with her husband Mark and their son Archer.

Eric Janssen is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with a comprehensive background in exercise physiology and physical therapy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern Colorado, specializing in sports and exercise. With a passion for fitness and conditioning, Eric became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, where he successfully guided individuals of all fitness levels to achieve their health and performance goals.

Driven to expand his expertise, Eric pursued further education at Vol State, becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. He has since focused his career on home health, delivering vital therapy services to patients who are homebound due to various conditions or injuries. His commitment to helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life is at the heart of his practice.

When not serving his patients, Eric enjoys a range of activities that reflect his dedication to health and wellness.
